The Theatre Project
The Theatre Project started as a way to capture the essence of the endangered art house cinemas of the early 20th Century. It grew into a study on interconnectedness of community. Over the years, many theaters have been converted into retail, office space, or concert venues, and some have been stripped of their former grandeur or completely razed. I noticed a pattern of small towns taking pride in keeping these old theaters alive, as a focal point of their community spirit.
