The Black and White Collection

Black and White was my first true photographic experience. When I was thirteen, my uncle taught me how to develop black and white film and create prints using an enlarger and photographic paper. The process felt like magic; glass, light, paper, silver and chemistry all working together. When I turned sixteen, my uncle passed his darkroom equipment onto me, along with a trusty old Fujica STX-1N. While I still shoot film on occasion, the majority of my fine art black and white images are shot digitally with the Fujifilm GFX system. It seems rather fitting that after all these years, I ended up back a part of the Fuji family.
